๐ Ingredients:
.Flour: 2 1/2 cups (all-purpose flour)
.Eggs: 3 (at room temperature)
.Sugar: 1 cup
.Oil: 1/2 cup
.Lemon juice: 1/2 cup
.Lemon zest: 1 whole lemon
.Milk or yogurt: 1/2 cup milk (or 1 vanilla yogurt)
.Baking powder: 2 sachets (16g)
.Vanilla extract: 1 sachet (or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract)
.A pinch of salt

Preparation Steps
1๏ธโฃ/ Preheat the oven ๐ฏ๏ธ:
Preheat the oven to 180ยฐC (350ยฐF). Grease a cake pan with butter and dust it lightly with flour to prevent sticking.
2๏ธโฃ/ Beat the eggs and sugar:
In a deep bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar, vanilla, and salt using an electric (or hand) mixer until the mixture turns white and creamy.
3๏ธโฃ/ Add the liquids:
Gradually add the oil while continuously beating, then add the milk (or yogurt), lemon zest, and lemon juice. Mix the ingredients lightly.
4๏ธโฃ/ Add the dry ingredients: Sift the flour and baking powder together and gradually add them to the mixture in two or three batches. Stir with a wooden spoon or spatula from the bottom up until the flour is incorporated and you achieve the desired consistency.
5๏ธโฃ/ Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes.

โAvoid opening the oven during the first 25 minutes to ensure the cake rises properly.

Finally, check for doneness: Insert a wooden skewer into the center of the cake; if it comes out clean, the cake is fully baked. Let it cool slightly before removing it from the pan.

.2 tablespoons cornstarch
Zest of 1 lemon
